Q: What is Bandit Sight/3?
A: Bandit Sight/3 or BS/3 is a tool for Anarchy Online that allows a user to monitor trade channels for specific items he is looking to buy. Monitoring happens in the background. Upon finding of items that fit users criteria, BS/3 can notify you, the user about the item and allows you to view the item via AODB interface.

Q: Does this tool cause any server-lag?
A: Absolutely not. Everything happens on your PC (client)

Q: What sort of stuff can I be looking for in the shopping channels?
A: Right now you can look for items by name, and/or by QL range that you need. If there is a need, I can expand the search to further parameters in future versions. For example, you can be looking for any item that contains the word "Concrete" in its name and with QL between 10 and 12.

Q: Do I need a separate account to run this program from?
A: Nope, you just need an alternate (alt) character who is capable of listening to Shopping channels.

05/23/2003 - v1.0.10 is out. Support for logging, clearing of the list, and reverse adding of items to the list

Installation

Make sure you have latest Internet Explorer. Make sure you have installed VB6 Runtime.
Make sure you are up to date with Microsoft Installer for Win95/98/ME or NT4/2000.
Download and Install BS/3 for AO from here.
