Let's see... let's start with these:
1. You must be male RL, and heterosexual ONLY. Sorry, Aries, I know you were looking for the two of us to hook up after stringing all the single guys along for a while, but you just don't meet the first qualification there... :P
2. Must have a good sense of humor, like to have fun, and general love of life, preferably without the use of controlled substances. ;)
3. Must care about yourself enough to take care of yourself. This is hard to explain. [:-|]
4. Honesty, integrity, and a sense of honor and respect are a must. I don't mean never-ever telling lies here (everyone lies at some point or another), but there has to be a sense of perspective. This is another one that's hard to explain, but I believe most folks in this crowd will understand what I mean.
5. I can't be able to beat you up. No, really! I don't mean necessarily physically here (although that's part of it--don't worry, I'm a wuss, physically ;) ). I'm a dragon, personality-wise, and if I can trample all over you all the time (so to speak), it's just not going to work out. Again, this isn't a 100%, all-the-time thing, but if I can walk over a guy most of the time... well, he will be confused all the time, and I will be frustrated. :(
... there are probably more, but I think those are the key ones. :)

You would be amazed how many people don't pass, particularly on the last three.
There is an old college friend of mine (no, Toby, not you :) ) who is a very dear and valued friend. He actually fails on 2, 3, and 5 (although he might be fixing 3, and 2 usually comes after 3...)
5, though... that's a killer for most guys. I am strong-willed, opinionated, and have a temper--and I know it. I'm also one of the most arrogant people you will ever meet.
And 5 was the one that's been tripping up my relationships for years, and I sadly didn't realize it.
But heck, if you really wanna try, Kelris, come on up to Ohio, and we will tango. ;)

As for Pach and Aries, I am betting they are very similiar, in a lot of ways.
3 things Aries looks for: Job, car, and own home/apt. Then she goes from there and her list is very much like Pachs... if they dont fit, her most famous saying is:

Yup! Have to agree with you on that one, Amy! I'm looking forward to the day Aries and I get to meet in RL (if it ever happens). [:roll]
And yes, those all fall under #3 for me. If he doesn't care about himself enough to have a job where he can at least get by, his own transportation and place to live... well... :P
Some other things under #3 include:
... personal hygene--is he at least clean and wearing clean clothes, etc.
... general health--understanding that there are things one doesn't always have control over, but what's he doing about it to deal with it?
... living environment
Just stuff like that. Hard to explain, but it's usually a definate 'yes' or definate 'no' thing...
